Dear Bengal Family,

We are facing an unprecedented challenge in our respective communities. The spread of COVID-19 has altered our lives in a way that many of us have not experienced before. These dramatic changes can lead to feelings of fear, confusion, and worry.

During this troubling time, we need to come together and support and protect one another. Rather than allowing these feelings of uncertainty to damage our sense of humanity, we must remember to make others a priority. Social distancing, self-quarantining, and other recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control may save a life. I encourage all of us to take the appropriate measures to protect the health of our community, and to look for ways that we can help support and uplift those who may be struggling.

Although the coming days may be difficult, the students of this institution have shown grit and perseverance since its founding in 1901. As Bengals, we can weather this storm together.

If you or someone you know is in need of support at this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Associated Students of Idaho State University at asisu@isu.edu . The well-being of our fellow students is of utmost importance to us.

Best regards,

Camdon Kay
ASISU President
