Hawaii Expands Pre-Travel Testing to Korea. Beginning today, Friday, Feb. 5, travelers from Korea may bypass the State of Hawaiʻi’s mandatory 10-day quarantine if they take a COVID-19 test from a trusted testing partner in Korea. The test must be taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to departure and the test result must be negative. Learn more>>>
New Requirements from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition to the State of Hawaii requirements for foreign travelers entering the U.S., the CDC is now requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving from a foreign country to the United States. Essential Workers Travel Exemption. Those identified as essential workers by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) or their employers should seek written authorization prior to travel to break self-quarantine to perform their work. Learn more>>>
Hawai'i Utility Bill Assistance Program. Hawaiian Electric is pleased to announce a new statewide assistance program to help qualifying families financially affected by the pandemic with past due electric, water, sewer, and gas utility payments. Learn more>>>
