The Westshore Alliance is closely monitoring the progression of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As we continue to learn about more confirmed cases across the globe and in Florida, we want to ensure that we're following the recommendations set forth by the Florida Department of Health (DOH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The safety and security of our members and the entire community is critically important to us.

The CDC recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the U.S. We are aligning with best practices recommended by the CDC and are adjusting our scheduled events accordingly.
 
Many of our events and meetings will be held virtually. Please check our  online events calendar  for our modified schedule. We will be communicating directly with those that are currently registered to attend our events with more information.

We will continue to keep you updated on our plans and response to COVID-19 in the weeks ahead.

Governor DeSantis recently announced the activation of the Business Damage Assessment survey to assess the impact of the COVID-19 virus on Florida's local business operations. Business owners who have had their business operations impacted by COVID-19 can complete the survey online.

We strongly encourage members of the community follow preventative guidelines provided by the Florida Department of Health.
Social distancing measures are taken to restrict when and where people can gather to stop or slow the spread of infectious diseases.
