COVID-19
PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING ARE WORKING!
April 15, 2020
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA -   Eisenhower Health and the County of Riverside both recently released information confirming that the added precautions we are all taking as a community are having a positive effect on the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The executive leadership team at Eisenhower Health released their seventh letter with positive news regarding the treatment of a decreasing number of positive COVID-19 patients than the previous two weeks. There is also key information on testing, the state of overall healthcare and how to support Eisenhower Health via their COVID-19 Support Fund.

Riverside County released two projection infographics showing how the added protective measures have the potential of flattening the curve. In the graphics below, you will see various scenarios for anticipated COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, ICU beds and resulting deaths.

Please keep in mind this information is very preliminary and the positive emphasis is that the recent orders are working, but there is still much to do. Let's all continue to do our part to adhere to the County orders and stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
