Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft, Scams, and Cybercrime
Since the onset of COVID-19, government agencies (including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Georgia Department of Law, and the Federal Trade Commission) have had to issue alerts about scammers, identity thieves, and cybercriminals seeking to take advantage of consumers. In response to this problem, we hosted a webinar last week with Bank On Atlanta to provide consumers with tips for recognizing and reporting cybercrimes, scams, and identity thieves.
