This year we celebrate 50 years in business, and we thought we had seen it all – then COVID 19 arrived and has put shockwaves to our industry, our country and the world.
At this time of great uncertainty we want to assure you we are here working busily, postponing and re-scheduling confirmed business, and working on RFP’s for the second half of 2020, 2021 and 2022. After 50 years in the travel & tourism business, we have learned to adapt and be resourceful. We are working with our suppliers to ensure our clients get the best possible solutions re. cancellation and deferral terms.
Needless to say we are all working remotely, here you will see some of us looking after our clients from our kitchen tables, home offices and living rooms! We’ve also embraced technology to make this adjustment as seamless as possible for our clients, from Skype calls to Zoom meetings etc, as at this time of isolation, nothing beats seeing a persons face and speaking to each other in real time.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be setting up webinars to remind you of what Wallace Travel Group and Ireland have to offer- we thought with everyone working from home, it might be a good opportunity to upskill, and re-educate our clients on what makes Ireland so special. More on this to follow.
During this unsettling time, we want to thank all frontline staff- doctors, nurses, an Garda Siochana, transportation, logistics, utilities and supermarket staff who are keeping the country safe & moving while we’re in this uncertain time.
