Updated PHO for Interior Health Region
Dr. Henry announced yesterday that due to the recent implementation of the vaccine passport requirement to enter many non-essential businesses and events, there would be changes made to the current restrictions in the Interior Health Region.

Highlight of Changes for Interior Health Region
Proof of Vaccination
With proof of vaccination (minimum one dose) until October 24, 2021:
  • Indoor organized events (e.g. weddings, funerals, seated events) can have a capacity of up to 50 people.
  • Outdoor organized events can have a capacity of up to 100 people.

With proof of full vaccination (two doses), effective now:
  • Indoor organized events can have a capacity of 50 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity (whichever is greater).
  • Outdoor organized events can have a capacity of 5,000 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity (whichever is greater).

Central Okanagan
Central Okanagan Food and Liquor Serving Premises Order is now lifted:
  • Venues can determine their own table limits
  • No socializing between tables
  • No dancing
  • Liquor service hours return to normal
