MISSOURI COVID-19 RESOURCES FOR EMPLOYEES AND BUSINESSES

Job seekers can visit jobs.mo.gov to access resources and visit  uinteract.labor.mo.gov to apply for unemployment insurance (UI). Access UI tips for those applying for unemployment.

Unemployed workers should remember to file weekly requests for payment during the temporary layoff period. View the video below for detailed information on this process.

The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB and Taney County Partnership continues to share important updates and information during COVID-19 to help your business navigate the current economic landscape.

This week, Gov. Parson releases Phase I of Missouri's 'Show-Me Strong' recovery plan. During this phase that begins May 4, we can expect to gradually start to reopen economic and social activity.

This will be a deliberate process, and is flexible to adapt to the situation. Some communities may be able to reopen at a faster rate, while others may need to continue restrictions to keep the virus from spreading. During Phase I, we should limit our activity and interactions and continue to maintain social distancing and practice good hygiene to protect our neighbors and ourselves.

Take a look at the statewide plan to reopen the economy and get Missourians back to work. We will continue to update you on local recovery efforts and changes as they become available.

MISSOURI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 'RETURN TO WORK' GUIDE
Missouri businesses have played a critical role in the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. As local and statewide restrictions were put into place, many employers drastically altered their operations with some closing their doors completely. As the response continues, many employers across the state are working to develop strategies to enable them to reopen when the threat subsides.

As part of  Uniting For Recovery: A COVID-19 Economic Response Agenda , the Missouri Chamber is providing this free Return To Work Guide based on best practices to assist businesses in their efforts to create safe workplaces for their employees and customers.
