Updates on Business Support Programs
New relaunch supports and commercial tenancy measures 

The government will continue to provide Alberta’s businesses and non-profits with  additional supports  as they deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including:
  • up to $200 million in funding for eligible businesses and non-profits to access up to $5,000 to offset a portion of their relaunch costs and
  • further measures including legislation to ensure commercial tenants will not face rent increases or be evicted for non-payment of rent due to the COVID-19 public health emergency.


Prime Minister announces supports for Canadians with disabilities to address challenges from COVID-19

To help Canadians with disabilities get and maintain good jobs so they can continue to support themselves and their families,  the government will :
  • Create a National Workplace Accessibility Stream through the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities. 
  • Invest $1.18 million in five new projects across the country through the Accessible Technology Program.

Travel Alberta's former cooperative marketing program has been re-imagined to help tourism operators and regions across Alberta restart consumer marketing activities and aid in the development of traveller products, experiences, and packaging in a COVID-19 travel environment.

From now until August 31, 2020, reconnect with your community with a mailing to inform your customers that you’re still open or are reopening soon, and give them an incentive to visit you. Find out more
Where Can You Find Sanitizer, Shields, and Masks in Drumheller?


If your business is open or opening soon and you still need a Plexiglas shield, social distancing stickers, signage or some disposable masks, the Chamber of Commerce is helping the Town to distribute these to businesses.

Please email or call us at 403-823-8100 to make an appointment if you wish to pick up items. Limit of 1 shield and 1 pack of 4 masks (free) per business.
