Alberta's Relaunch Continues
Reminder- if your business is re-opening, changing your hours or making any other changes please let us know so we can update our Status of Local Businesses List on the Chamber website.

Update to Operations at the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce:
As of Friday, May 22 the World's Largest Dinosaur and Drumheller Visitor Information Centre are open to the public. Safety measures are in place, including but not limited to allowing only one group inside the dinosaur at a time, and shields at the gift shop till and info centre counter.
The Chamber offices are also now open to the public during our regular office hours of Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm, closed for the noon hour. To help us limit the number of people in the office and to ensure we can give you the best level of service, we encourage appointments if you need to visit the Chamber office in person.
Updates on Business Support Programs
Community Futures Big Country- Regional Relief & Recovery Fund
Applications will be processed through a secure online portal that is accessed through the website. The online portal goes live on Monday morning. The office is still closed to walk-in visitors, but staff are available by phone (403-823-7703) or email. View press release

Application Portal Now Open for Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA)
Property owners have specific days of the week to register based on location. Once registered, the portal will be available 24/7 for applicants to input data and upload documents. Find out more

Small Business Relief Fund
As part of its Canadian Business Resilience Network campaign, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, through the generosity of  Salesforce  (NYSE:CRM), will provide 62 small Canadian businesses from coast to coast to coast with $10,000 grants to help their recovery efforts during these unprecedented times.

The Alberta government is providing new supports for hotels and other lodging providers that allow them to keep tourism levy amounts collected between March 1 and December 31, 2020.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s Canadian Business Resilience Network has prepared a  toolkit  designed to provide guidance, or access to guidance, for business owners and senior managers responsible for re-establishing their operations while ensuring the health and safety of their staff, customers, suppliers and the general public is at the forefront.


Tip from the American Water Works Association : Before you reopen, has water been stagnant in your building? As water sits stagnant in pipes and tanks within buildings, water quality issues can arise. That means the stale water should be flushed out of buildings before they re-open . Read more

The Town of Drumheller and Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce have established an Economic Recovery Task Force to help local businesses, residents, non-profits and charitable organizations navigate the various financial aid, grants, and deferral programs currently offered by government agencies . Where Can You Find Sanitizer, Shields, and PPE in Drumheller?


The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is helping the Town of Drumheller to distribute Plexiglas shields, social distancing stickers, signage and mask starter packs (4 disposable masks) to businesses that are either already open or opening soon.
