With construction projects restarting this Friday, May 1, 2020, we felt that it was appropriate to remind you of some of the resources available on the MBA COVID-19 Response page. As you know, the Wolf administration announced guidance for the construction industry's return to work. Two of the requirements deal with cleaning and disinfecting:
Implement cleaning or sanitizing protocols at all construction sites and projects. Identify and regularly clean and disinfect areas that are at high risk for transmission (requirements to clean common areas and regularly trafficked spaces periodically).
Limit tool sharing and sanitize tools if they must be shared.
The City of Pittsburgh Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections (PLI) has updated the guidelines that we included in our previous email. Please be sure that you are following the version revised on April 24, 2020.
