MAFP LEADERSHIP WORKING FOR YOU & YOUR PATIENTS : Your MAFP leadership is meeting weekly through conference calls, emails and texts during the pandemic. We have sent letters to organizations advocating for our members as well as our patients. This past week, a very important issue was brought to our attention: the high rates at which COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting African Americans in Mississippi.

To promote awareness, we rolled out a public service announcement (see video embedded above) Friday night on social media and have already had almost 10,000 engagements. We ask our members to use the below links to share on your own social media and with your local communities, churches and local government officials.

Let MAFP know by e-mailing Kristen Kern if you'd like to personalize this message to use in your clinic communications.
