As you know the global health situation has forced us to cancel or postpone our CFA Society Saskatchewan
events
scheduled for the upcoming months. In addition, CFA Institute has postponed the June 2020 CFA exam sitting. (No doubt a relief to some in this challenging time.)
Although most have been stocking up at the local grocery store, there are those in our communities who do not have the ability to do so. In addition to a health concern, COVID 19 poses a real economic challenge for many people. CFA Society Saskatchewan has decided that we should support our local food banks.
What we are asking of our members is if you might have attended one of our events, why don't you take what your event fee would have been ($25) and donate to those in need? The CFA Society Saskatchewan will match your donation with the funds we would have spent on our events over the next month.
Many of the local charities are in crisis mode, and we feel that a gesture of support, however small, can help to build a sense of community at this time. We recommend
making donations online as charities have stretched resources right now.
