COVID-19 Coronavirus Update
GOVERNOR EVERS DECLARES HEALTH EMERGENCY IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS

In response to the unprecedented health crisis facing our state, this afternoon Governor Tony Evers issued Executive Order #72, relating to a proclamation declaring a health emergency in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES ISSUES COVID-19 UPDATE 

COVID-19 is a virus that has not previously infected humans and information about its rate of spread and its effects is still largely unknown, which makes it incredibly important to be highly cautious in dealing with the current situation. 

The Department of Health Services (DHS ) issued an update on the work done thus far, the current status of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, and the steps being taken to keep families and communities safe. 

The information in the below document is current as of the morning of  March 12, 2020.  Note that is is a rapidly evolving situation, with updates and changes continuing to be issued.
