COVID-19 Coverage Updates
QualChoice anticipates that over the next three months, Arkansas and its residents will continue to see a rise in COVID-19 cases. We are committed to ensuring access to COVID-19 treatment services in accordance with federal and state law.

Through June 30, and extended as necessary, QualChoice will implement revised coverage rules for fully insured group plans in an effort to support our local business clients and their employees.

Telehealth Services During COVID-19 Outbreak
To ensure that all QualChoice members have needed access to care, we have increased the scope and scale of coverage for telehealth services for the duration of the COVID-19 emergency. This will benefit not only members who have contracted or been exposed to the novel coronavirus, but also those who need care unrelated to COVID-19. Read more .

Helping Our Members Quit Tobacco and Nicotine
QualChoice is here to help our members stop tobacco and nicotine use. A new section of QualChoice.com is devoted to this issue. In the member section, under Health and Wellness choose Stopping Tobacco and Nicotine Use . Here you’ll find helpful articles, links to more resources and information on our Kick the Nic! program.
Antibiotic Prescribing and Use for Outpatients
QualChoice is committed to educating our members about appropriate antibiotic use. Antibiotic resistance is one of the most serious public health problems in the United States and threatens to return us to the time when simple infections were often fatal. We’re also asking for help from providers in optimizing how these drugs are prescribed and used, to protect patients from harm and combat antibiotic resistance.

See the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for appropriate treatment of common illnesses .
