NEWS
NEW - The governor today announced 10 more California counties have been given the okay to reopen, with modifications. Discussions are underway with 31 of the state’s 58 other counties to begin the reopening process, but Newsom said conditions are still too serious in Los Angeles and San Francisco counties to modify guidelines for resuming business in those areas. 



GAVILAN COLLEGE STATUS :
  • All locations of Gavilan College are closed, and all instruction and services are being provided in online format through the end of May.
  • The campus, including tennis courts, track, and golf course,is closed to the public
  • Summer registration is underway. Summer classes start June 15
  • Fall registration will begin on June 22
  • Scholarship application deadline has been extended until May 15
  • Deadline to select PASS/ NO PASS grading option has been extended until May 15

  • Graduation has been postponed until Fall 2020, tentatively to be scheduled by department December 19-21. Read letter from Dr. Rose
FALL 2020
  • Fall 2020 classes, services, and activities will be offered primarily online, except for those programs where licensing requirements or the nature of the matieral require face-to-face instruction.
  • When face-to-face instruction takes place, it will be in accordance with appropriate practices for sanitizing and social distancing in accordance with public health guidelines.
  • If classes have a synchronous component, that is, required online meetings at a specific day and time, these will be listed in the Fall schedule of classes so students may plan accordingly.
  • Registration for Fall classes will begin on June 22
The ASGC Centennial Scholarship is for students that have been affected by Covid-19.
