We are saddened to report that American River College (ARC) has informed us that as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns that their organization is facing, they are transitioning to an online-only campus for the remainder of the Spring Semester and potentially the foreseeable future. With this transition, ARC will close their campus to non-essential staff, and will not allow outside organizations to use their facilities.
As mentioned in the emails that went out on Monday and Tuesday, the health and safety of our participants is our highest priority. We let you know that the situation was continually evolving, and attempted to mitigate health concerns to the best of our ability, unfortunately we cannot hold a STEM Fair without a venue.
Therefore, it is our unfortunate circumstance that we must inform you that the
2020 Sacramento Regional STEM Fair is cancelled.
Thank you for all your support, hard work, and dedication. We will see you in 2021. All completed registrations submitted prior to the final deadline (February 10, 2020) will receive a Certificate of Recognition for engaging in a STEM Fair Project in 2020.
Once again, we are disheartened by this news, and understand all the hard work you dedicated to attending our event. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you in 2021.
