COVID-19 Rapid Relief for Vermont Arts & Culture Sector
Dear Friends,

T wo new funding opportunities for the arts and culture sector were announced last week. In case you missed it, we wanted to be sure that you heard the news. Whether you are an artist or patron of the arts, please help spread the news far and wide so that our friends in Vermont's arts, humanities and cultural sector can survive and thrive.
The Arts Council has established a   Vermont Rapid Response Artist Relief  fund to respond to the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on artists across our state. Direct grants of up to $500 support individual artists experiencing financial hardship due to the loss of a job or cancellation of concerts, festivals, theatrical performances and other arts events.
The Council has partnered with Vermont Humanities to offer the Vermont COVID-19 Cultural Relief Program for Vermont arts and humanities organizations. Funding for this program is provided primarily from the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act of 2020.
If you are in a position to help, please consider a donation to the new  statewide Arts Recovery Fund , created in partnership with the Vermont Community Foundation, or directly to the Rapid Response Artist Relief Fund .
