RECENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ACTIONS
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") Provides Guidance on Standards: OSHA has prepared a listing of applicable standards, which apply to businesses grappling with COVID-19. Two of the most relevant standards relate to Personal Protective Equipment for workers (29 CFR 1910 Subpart I for general industry) and OSHA's General Duty Clause.
  • CDC Continues to Provide Guidance: The CDC provided guidance for the use of cloth face coverings in schools. Additionally, the CDC has provided guidance for the handling of biosafety specimens associated with COVID-19 and added precautions for the handling and processing of laboratory specimens.
  • Payment Protection Program ("PPP") Guidance: As the PPP closed on August 8, 2020, the SBA continues to provide guidance on the criteria for loan forgiveness for lenders and borrowers. The SBA has provided a listing of frequently asked questions to help guide the PPP administration process.

RECENT STATE OF FLORIDA GOVERNMENT ACTIONS
  • Changes to Existing Measures: The Governor changed restaurant employee screening guidelines to follow that of the CDC and ended the requirement for travelers to Florida to self-quarantine. Click for more.
  • Local Government Meetings: Local governments can continue to establish a quorum virtually until October 1, 2020. Click for more.

FLORIDA COVID-19 MAPS





Our in-house Geographic Information System (GIS) team has created state-of-the-art, proprietary work products using data from the Florida Department of Health website.  These high-definition maps are extremely detailed, searchable, and are created to help easily visualize Florida's progress in regards to the pandemic.

As the release of mandates by local governments tend to be slowing down, our team will be updating the local government comprehensive listing on a monthly basis.  The most recent update date (August 5) will be indicated at the bottom of the document.

Grouped by region and with an easy-to-navigate table of contents, the listing is filled with links to each government's orders, organized by date.
