HCC/Live Well Community Health Centers Offer Limited Call-First COVID-19 Testing
Individuals With Symptoms Must Call a Live Well Community Health Center to Schedule an Appointment
HCC and its Live Well Centers are offering limited COVID-19 testing. Individuals exhibiting symptoms must call first to make an appointment.

Please do not show up to a Live Well Center location without an appointment.
COVID-19 Testing Patient Protocols :

You will be screened and assessed to determine if testing is necessary. You must make an appointment before showing up at a Live Well Center. An appointment for screening does not guarantee a COVID-19 test.

A positive test requires home quarantine for a minimum of 14 days.

Live Well providers offer patients return-to-work notices. Remember, if you have symptoms, quarantine until you are seen by a health provider. Do not go to the emergency room for COVID-19 testing. Call Live Well for an appointment. If tested, you must also quarantine while you await results.

Patients who test positive will be treated based on CDC/FDA recommendations. Uninsured patients are eligible for Live Well’s sliding fee scale discount program.

New Live Well Clinic Hours:
Well Visits: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Sick Visits: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

LCHD Suspends Walk-in Clinics
The Lafayette County Health Department is continuously monitoring the evolving situation and working to ensure our community is prepared.

We are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to help protect the public health and limit spread of this infection.

In an effort to keep our community healthy and slow the spread of COVID-19, the Lafayette County Health Department will suspend walk-in clinics through April 3rd. All WIC appointments will be done via telephone and vouchers mailed to the address we have on file. If you need to update your address or phone number, or if you have questions, please call the health department at 660-259-4371.
Social distancing, proper hand hygiene and sneezing/coughing into a tissue will help slow the spread. We will work diligently to keep the county informed during this ever changing situation.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the community for their cooperation during this time and doing everything they can to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
