The Monterey Conference Center in partnership with their vendor, PSAV, has lit up the center with purple lights to show support for the hospitality industry. The pandemic is deeply affecting many hospitality workers and businesses, and having a devastating ripple effect on the local economy. April 21 Monterey City Council Meeting Video
This past Tuesday Council meeting included several COVID-19-related agenda items - a fiscal impact report, a potential employee layoff proposal, a local economic development plan , as well as a rental assistance program.
