FROM THE CITY OF MONTEREY
COVID-19 Local Update - in Brief
May 6, 2020
Wildlife Wednesday
A fun look at sea lions sheltering in place. They often congregate on Monterey’s jetty to huddle for heat. They compete for space on the rocks, seeking a breather and warmth after fishing in the chilly Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. As for you land-based Monterey mammals, keep up the great work social distancing and sheltering in place!
