In addition, the City of Monterey highly encourages all businesses with temporary outdoor dining permits to attend one of two informational sessions being offered at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020. City staff will cover requirements for outdoor dining (sidewalk, private parking lots, and parklets on public parking spaces) including size, design, configuration, materials, accessibility, insurance, costs, application process, and mask requirements.
