In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following have been extended by federal government officials.
- COVID-19 testing and treatment coverage requirements are tied to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency, which is currently set to expire on January 21, 2021 if not further extended by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
- The National Emergency for COVID-19 is set to end sometime in 2021 pursuant to ERISA, or earlier per the President’s action, but an exact date has not been identified.
