Important Updates from Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital
"Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital continues to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, with the health and safety of our community as our highest priority. We wanted to share some important updates about COVID-19 and our response.

  • We will continue to update and post information about COVID symptoms, treatment guidelines and resources at https://www.nm.org/covid-19. If you have questions, please call our hotline at 312.47.COVID (312.472.6843). If you are experiencing severe health problems, please proceed to the Emergency Department.

  • Our healthcare workers wish to say a big “thank you” to our wonderful community for its many generous donations and expressions of kindness. The donations of personal protective equipment and food, as well as thoughtful words of encouragement have been greatly appreciated and have lifted the spirits of all of our healthcare workers - from front line caregivers to patient transporters, environmental services staff, laboratory technicians, respiratory therapists and supply chain employees – among many others. Thank You!!!!

  • Lake Forest Hospital can now accept donations of cloth face masks that have been laundered and individually bagged. These will be distributed for use in the community only. In addition, our healthcare workers are grateful for donations of “ear savers” and headbands that relieve the pressure of surgical masks with ear loops during extended use. Information about donating can be found at https://www.nm.org/conditions-and-care-areas/infectious-disease/covid-19/donations

  • Lake Forest Hospital stands prepared to take care of our community during the COVID-19 crisis, and has always had plans in place to accommodate an increased patient load. We are in constant contact with our colleagues throughout our Northwestern Medicine health system, as well as other colleagues and experts around the country and the world, sharing critical information and learning from what is shared, including from our colleagues in New York City, so that we can continue to perform at peak performance for the benefit of our patients.

Thank you again for your kind support as we continue to respond to the COVID-19 crisis."
