Executive Order Extended Through April 30
Beginning tomorrow, the Governor's Office will extend the Stay at Home Order, which includes the suspension of on-site learning at both private and public schools through Thursday, April 30. COVID-19 testing is currently prioritized for people aged 65 years and older and for those with the most severe symptoms.
The City is Staying Informed...
...and we will share information and resources as often as possible.

The City of Lake Lake Forest remains in constant contact with local and state officials, participating in many conference calls throughout each week; sometimes several times a day.

Also, City staff hosts weekly calls with key officials from Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115, Lake Forest College, the Village of Lake Bluff and Lake Bluff School District 65.

In addition, Lake Forest joined with other communities in promoting the "Stay Home. Save Lives" campaign. The City participates in weekly calls with neighboring municipalities to discuss Government Partner Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Earth Day Event
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, Green Minds of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff invites the community to help produce a video montage of 2-8 second videos that residents, students and those working in LF or LB contribute. A team of LFHS students will connect the videos in time for Earth Day on April 22. Please submit your entry by Friday, April 10. Check here for all the details!
