Aid for Small Businesses and Non-Profits
Governor J.B. Pritzker announced a series of new aid packages that will be available to small business and local non-profits. The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Illinois' official Corona Virus website are hosting the applications under the non-profit lender Accion. Additionally, private and individual contributions have been raised through the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund, a collaboration between the Governor's office, United Way of Illinois, and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations, to support non-profit organizations across the State of Illinois. FEMA/IEMA reimbursement guidelines are being reviewed and the City is tracking all COVID-19 related expenses for potential reimbursement.
The State of Illinois has extended the 2019 tax filing to July 15 to mirror the Federal filing deadline.
The City is delaying the community mailing for vehicle stickers, animal licenses and annual parking permits and the revised deadline for purchases will be extended.
The City has also suspended all penalty and shut off notices for utility bill payments.

All home refuse/recycling/yard waste collections are continuing. Please note that collections need to be ready by 7 a.m. but may not be picked up exactly at 7 a.m. depending on the route.

Lake County Health Department
The Lake County Health Department released an interactive map which shares the number of residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 in each municipality. According to the LCHD website, it is best viewed on a computer. As of March 26, 30-34 cases have been identified in Lake Forest. You can view the maphere.
United Way of Lake County'sLifeline's 2-1-1 (simply call 2-1-1 or text your zip code to 898211) help hotline is a free and confidential service that helps people in Lake County find the health and human service programs they need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Family Service Lake County offers the continuation of its vital client support services, including mental health counseling and education.
United Way of Lake County launches COVID-19 Response Fund - Lake County’s health and human service organizations are experiencing an unprecedented demand for services from neighbors and communities significantly impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
