With COVID-19 cases increasing sharply in the Charleston area and across the state, it is important to stay vigilant about good social distancing and personal hygiene practices. Do your part for the health and safety of our community!
Clean Your Workspace Frequently

Work areas should be cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day or between shifts, including doorknobs, drawer pulls, and computer mouse/keyboard. For more information and tips, visit the CDC's Cleaning and Disinfection page. Contact your building manager with concerns about cleaning a specific area.

If you have any symptom listed below while on campus, please go home, take your temperature, and contact MUSC Virtual Urgent Care ( musc.care).

How do I get tested?

Testing sites require appointments. If you receive a referral for testing during your MUSC Virtual Urgent Care visit, you will be contacted within 24 hours to schedule an appointment for specimen collection.

Someone in our HCC lab is sick. How do we request a deep clean?

If any researcher or lab manager is made aware of anybody in an HCC research space who has tested positive for COVID-19, please notify Mike Garbarini, HCC's building manager, via cell (843-834-3862) or Donna Berrier, the cancer center administrator, via email ( [email protected]) or cell (804-592-7485) of the areas that will need to be closed for cleaning.
