During these most unsettling, and unprecedented times, all of us at Adams & Associates will work to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19. For the next few weeks, all client consultations will take place via telephone, Face Time, or Skype, and we will offer free 30 minute consultations.
To date, both the federal and Arizona state courts are proceeding with case hearings as usual. However, per General Order 20-10, the federal courts have postponed all trials scheduled before April 10, 2020 “until further order of the court.” Trials that are currently in progress will be completed. We suspect that in the near future, various other court proceeding will be rescheduled. We will continue to update our clients regarding the status of their cases, and any developments regarding the court systems as they arise. We are taking all precautions in order to try and minimize our contact with others, including inmates, and others who may be at high risk for combating the virus.
We know that this is a difficult time for us all. My heart aches for my 17 year old daughter, who will likely not get to go to her senior prom, or hear her named called at graduation. We have tried to tell our daughter to be grateful, however, for the things we do have. There are so many who will suffer greatly from the onset of this disease, and will have substantial needs for months, and maybe years to come. The best way to get through all of this is
together,
and to help those who cannot help themselves. Donate food, blood, money, or your time-whatever you can spare.
We are grateful to our entire community, especially our first responders, and fearless healthcare workers, and look forward to supporting you in any way that we can.
Warmly,
Ashley
