As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 global health crisis, adhere to recommendations aimed at slowing the spread of the virus, and respond with measures that seek to protect the health and well-being of our community, the University of Mount Union would like to share a few additional campus updates.

The McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex (The MAAC)
To help minimize the spread of illness on campus, the fitness and recreation facilities of the MAAC will close today, Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m. and will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 global health crisis as it develops and announce any future decisions to reopen the facility as appropriate.

NCAA Cancels all Winter and Spring Championships
NCAA President Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors canceled all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships. As a result, this evening’s NCAA tournament game between Mount Union and Wittenberg, which was scheduled to be held in the Timken Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m., has been canceled.
