2022 COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Requests

To address the project shortfalls created by increased costs and delays due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, AHFA implemented the 2022 COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Request application.

The eligibility requirements and prioritizations for this program are detailed in Addendum E of the 2022 Plans. The application for this relief is available and the deadline for submitting an application to AHFA is Friday, January 28 by 5 p.m. CST.

Note from Barbara Wallace Upon Her Retirement

Barbara Wallace recently retired from AHFA. She asked that we share the following with all of you:

“Effective December 31, 2021, I began the next chapter of my life - retirement. I'm grateful for the privilege to work with Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) and you for 32 years to provide decent, safe, and affordable housing for Alabamians.

Chris Hert Named Multifamily Manager
