Updated San Juan County Public Health orders extends through May 1st. The new order "loosens restrictions on travel to the county for those who are full time RVers as well as those who can do so without violating a state or local travel restriction in their home jurisdiction. Other changes include the loosening of restrictions for many face to face visits with family and friends."

BLM Canyon Country District Monticello Field Office
dispersed camping, in accordance with the San Juan Public Health Order, is open to non-locals. Areas that remain closed remain so to encourage social distancing and group gathering. These areas include: established and group campgrounds, vault toilets, and special use permitting including Cedar Mesa & the San Juan River. These closures remain in effect until April 30th.

Utah Leads Together 2.0,
in this afternoon's press conference the Governor offered hope that the "stabilization phase" for Utah is around the corner. To learn what this means as well as to read the state's updated COVID-19 plan for urgent response and recovery follow this link:
New Utah Leads 2.0 Plan
The new plan's ultimate objective is to align public health and economic health to ensure strong recovery. It includes dashboards about COVID-19 data, specific guidance about how industries can adapt to public health requirements, recommendations for local government, and a color-coded health guidance system for how businesses, non-profits, and governments can safely re-engage in-person with their customers and employees.

The
US Chamber of Commerce Foundation
opened a Save Small Business $5,000 grant initiative offering short-term relief for small employers in the United States and its territories. Applications go live April 20, 2020 at 12PM PST
TO QUALIFY YOU MUST
- Employ between 3 and 20 people
- Be located in an economically vulnerable community
- Have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic

PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM UPDATE FROM UTAH'S FEDERAL DELEGATION
The Utah Economic Task Force will host a virtual town hall on
Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. MST
to provide a status update on the Paycheck Protection Program from members of Utah's federal delegation, as well as discuss how local businesses are using the Utah Leads Together 2.0 plan when preparing for the reactivation of our economy.

In order to qualify for the Advance, you must submit this
new application
even if you previously (prior to 3/30/20) submitted an EIDL application. Applying for the Advance will not impact the status or slow your existing EIDL application.
Funds will be made available within three days of a successful application, and this loan advance will not have to be repaid.
