**Each test result is manually processed by the Winnebago County Health Department. Processing positive cases is our first priority to ensure quick notification and investigation to help prevent spread of COVID-19. Recent negative test results may not have been processed yet. This will not affect our weekly report on percent positivity. Any unprocessed negative results will be accounted for in our weekly data summary that reports the average percent positivity across a two week period.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) launched new data on the impact of COVID-19 in our state. In tandem, DHS also released guidance on mitigation strategies for communities. View the news release.

The Disease Activity dashboard tracks changes in confirmed case numbers and trends. Metrics including daily number of emergency department visits for people with COVID-like and influenza-like symptoms better inform the activity level by region or county.

The Hospital Capacity dashboard shows how the virus is impacting regional health care systems. Measures include usage of hospital beds, ICU beds, ventilators, and trajectory of hospitalizations.

Percent Positive Graphs: 7-day trends of percent positive COVID-19 cases by test and in comparison to the rate by person

Cases by School-Age Children: Dashboard that breaks down confirmed COVID-19 cases among children under age 3, 4 – 8 years old, 9 – 13 years old, and 14 – 17 years old.

Updates to the Winnebago County Health Department's COVID-19 Dashboard
- Graphs default to show the past 30 days. Choose a different range of time by clicking on the arrow on the left side of the dashboard.
- The municipal map now shows the number of active cases, active case rate and cumulative cases.

How to Protect Yourself from COVID-19
- Wear a mask.
- Stay at least 6 feet apart from people you do not live with.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating and after going to the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- If you do not have soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Do not attend gatherings with people you do not live with.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Cough or sneeze into an elbow if no tissue is available. Wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household disinfectant cleaning spray or wipe.
