What's New
- Gov. Evers temporarily ordered the suspension of evictions and foreclosures. The order prohibits landlords from evicting tenants for any reason unless failure to proceed with the eviction will result in an imminent threat of serious physical harm to another person and mortgagees from commencing civil action to foreclose on real estate for 60 days. Wisconsinites who are able to continue to meet their financial obligations are urged to do so. This order does not in any way relieve a person's obligation to pay their rent or mortgages.
- Resilient Wisconsin is a new webpage designed to help Wisconsinites stay connected, strong and thriving. It provides tools and resources for building resilience in all parts of your life, including resources to help you recognize and deal with stress, invest in self-care, stay connected and care for others during this pandemic.
- The Wisconsin Restaurant Association set up a hotline for employers (both members and non-members). The hotline will help answer questions related to HR, navigating operations, helpful tips, etc. Call 608-270-9950 (8am-4:30pm, M-F, or leave a message after hours) or email [email protected].
- Oshkosh Media airs Active for Life home exercise videos for all ages every morning at 8am on Life TV (Spectrum channel 2), Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV. You can also access them anytime on YouTube.
- Reminder: If you traveled anywhere outside of your local community in the past 14 days, the Department of Health Services asks that you stay home (self-quarantine) and monitor yourself (self-monitor) for symptoms for 14 days after you've returned. If you were able to practice social distancing during the entire time you were away, you should still monitor your symptoms and practice social distancing.
- Self-Quarantine - Stay home. It is important that you avoid contact with others to avoid spreading the infection to others.
- Self-Monitor - Monitor your symptoms. Check your temperature twice daily, and write down any symptoms you have. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, cough, shortness of breath or others and need medical care, call your doctor.
- Have you been laid off or lost wages due to COVID-19? You may be eligible for different health insurance options. Learn more here.
- REMINDER: Call your healthcare provider before going into a clinic if you are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19. This allows them to provide guidance, prepare ahead if you need to be seen, and minimize risk to others.
- Testing is limited to the highest priority patients and health care workers. Testing is not recommended for people with mild, upper respiratory symptoms. It's recommended that these individuals self-isolate at home until their symptoms improve.
Family Resources
