Please note: Case counts do not include patients with COVID-19 symptoms that were not tested. Those with mild symptoms are most often directed to self-monitor at home without testing.
** Each individual test is manually processed by the Winnebago County Health Department. Processing positive cases is our first priority to ensure quick notification and investigation to help prevent spread of COVID-19. Recent negative test results may not have been processed yet. This will not affect our weekly report on percent positivity. Any unprocessed negative results will be accounted for in our weekly data summary that reports the average percent positivity across a two week period.

On the registration site, click on the blue button that directs you to a screening questionnaire. If there are multiple people in your family being tested, you can use the same email address but a questionnaire must be completed for each individual.

Who May Be Tested:
Anyone over age 5 experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 is encouraged to get tested. Contact a pediatrician or healthcare provider for children under five years old.
Symptoms may include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Chills
- Muscle aches
- Runny nose
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Loss of taste or smell
Additional information:
- Testing is free
- Pre-registration is highly encouraged
- Testing is available to any Wisconsin resident with symptoms of COVID-19
- Antibody testing is not available
- No appointment is needed
- Drive or walk through testing
- A doctor’s referral is not required
- Daily testing capacity will be 500 tests
- Members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard will conduct the testing
- Language translators will be available
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can consent to the testing
- While you're waiting for your test results, it is important that you limit contact with others to prevent spread of the virus should you test positive.
- Test results should be received via email and/or phone within 3-7 business days.
The tri-county community testing sites were made possible through a collaboration between the Wisconsin Army National Guard and health departments of the City of Menasha, City of Appleton, Calumet County, Outagamie County and Winnebago County as well as UW-Oshkosh, Red Cross and the emergency management teams from the tri-county area.

The Winnebago County Health Department encourages anyone who has attended a gathering or event with people from outside of their household, where actions were not taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, to monitor for symptoms and limit contact with others for 14 days after the event.
Per the CDC, asymptomatic cases account for 40% of COVID-19 cases, which makes wearing a mask, social distancing and hand washing even more critical to reducing the spread of the virus.
We all have to work together as a community to help keep our most vulnerable residents safe, our businesses open and our schools able to start in-person learning.

How to Protect Yourself from COVID-19
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating and after going to the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- If you do not have soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Cough or sneeze into an elbow if no tissue is available. Wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household disinfectant cleaning spray or wipe.
