Dear Misericordia Parents, Sibs, and Guardians,
These are truly extraordinary times we live in! Our Misericordia Staff is working very hard to protect our loved ones during this COVID-19 crisis. For Staff, normal routines are being upended, hours extended, and daily challenges are increasing dramatically.
The MFA and SIBS Boards feel it is very important that we send our tremendous Staff tangible signs of our appreciation for all that they are doing during these most challenging times.
We are asking for your help in three different ways:
- Send notes to your DSP staff with your thanks and encouragement for their work.
- Call your Q or Director to arrange date(s) and restaurant delivery directions for breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. We’re looking into a potentially easier online process for this, but go through your Q for now. Families cannot bring over food at this time.
- Donate to a new COVID-19 Staff Fund. Together the MFA, the SIBS, Sr. Rosemary, and Mary Pat will determine how to best distribute these funds to our staff.
We’d love for you to participate in the first two items on an ongoing basis. However, the new COVID-19 Staff Fund is a one-time donation, similar to our holiday appeal.
To contribute, please make your check payable to Misericordia Family Association, add your MFA number and “Staff Fund” in the memo field, and mail it to:
