Dear Neighbor,

At Neighborhood Storage, the health and well-being of our customers, our employees, and our community is our top priority. That is why we have been paying careful attention to the guidance being provided every day by our federal, state, and local authorities. We are committed to doing our part to help keep our community safe.

Governor DeSantis recently issued a stay-at-home order for the state of Florida. According to that order, “all persons in Florida shall limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.” The order went into effect at 12:01am today April 3, 2020. Pursuant to this order, access to Neighborhood Storage facilities is available for essential visits only.

The self storage industry has been deemed an essential business by the state of Florida; therefore, we will continue to operate during the duration of the stay-at-home order. However, in order to conform to social distancing guidelines provided by our federal, state, and local public health officials, Neighborhood Storage has developed several new protocols that will allow us to help you with your storage needs during this time while maintaining a social distance. Our management offices and restrooms remain closed to the public - but we are still here to serve you.

By making these changes to our standard operating procedures, we’re hoping to do our part to keep our employees and customers safe, and to help slow the spread of illness in our community. Information on several of these “contactless” protocols is listed below for your reference:

MOVE-INS
We can answer your questions and complete move-ins remotely and quickly through our e-signature and ID verification process. Call us at 1-800-456-0698 and we can get you moved in quickly. Rentals can also be completed online at www.neighborhoodstorage.com and at our automated kiosk locations (new tenants from these move-ins will need to get access information from our management team during business hours) .

PAYMENTS
Credit Card:
Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 1-800-456-0698 and dialing your store payment extension. You will need the primary telephone number on the account to retrieve account information. Payment extensions are listed by management office below for your reference:

310 NE 25th Avenue - Extension 551
4701 SE Maricamp Road - Extension 552
9275 S US Highway 441 - Extension 557
7256 SW 62nd Ave (Highway 200 area) - Extension 558
2362 NW 45th Terrace (Highway 27 area) - Extension 5524

You can also make credit card payments at facilities with automated kiosks (if your storage unit is located at that facility) and online at www.neighborhoodstorage.com . You can utilize the website to sign up for autopay via credit card or ACH as well.

Check or Money Order:
Please place your check or money order in the outside dropbox or drop slot at your management office or mail it to your management office address. We request that you put your check or money order in an envelope prior to placing it in the outside dropbox or drop slot. Remember to write your unit number on the front of your check or money order, so we can apply to your account accordingly.

Cash:
We are not accepting cash at our management offices for the time being. We request that you place a money order in the dropbox or drop slot at your management office, as noted above, instead of cash. If this presents a hardship for you, please call us to discuss.

NOTE: If your facility has an automated kiosk, you may make a cash payment via the kiosk at that facility.

TRUCK RENTALS
Truck rentals are suspended until further notice.

EVERYTHING ELSE
We will be available 7 days per week to assist with your needs. We ask for your patience and understanding if we have to modify the customer experience to adapt to the ever-changing landscape. We are working hard to keep our facilities operating as normally as possible, while also attempting to safeguard the health and well-being of our customers and employees. And remember: we kindly request that customers always maintain the recommended 6-foot distance from other customers - and from our employees - when making essential visits to our facilities.

We urge you to follow the advice of the public health community and make informed decisions about visiting public spaces, including Neighborhood Storage facilities. For additional guidance regarding COVID-19, we encourage you to visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website directly.

These policies may change, and we will be in touch if they do. Honestly, we can't wait for things to return to normal, but in the meantime, we are committed to helping flatten the curve.

And as always, if you require additional help with your storage needs, then we hope you won’t hesitate to reach out to us. If you have any questions or concerns, you can email or call your management office, email [email protected] , or call 1-800-456-0698. We are here for you.

Sincerely,
The Neighborhood Storage Team
