16 OCTOBER 2020 - UPDATE TIER 2
Greetings!
Following recent government announcements, from tomorrow, Saturday 17th October
we are now subject to Tier 2 restrictions.
Tier 1 rules previously in force meant you could not meet in a group of more than six people, indoors or outdoors, unless you were in a larger household or a support bubble.
Pubs, bars and restaurants in a Tier 1 area must close by 22:00.
The rules for Tier 1 also apply in Tier 2.
In addition, you are not allowed to meet socially with people you do not live with indoors - this includes private homes, as well as pubs or restaurants.
People in support bubbles can go on meeting as before and informal childcare may also be provided.
You can still meet friends and family outdoors, but only in a group of up to six people.

WYCH ELM NEW OPTIONS:
OPTION 1 -
You can BOOK A TABLE inside the pub for food and drinks via our website
and your group MUST reside under one roof.

OPTION 2 -
As a group of 6 (from different households) you can BOOK A TABLE in our garden only. Please note there is no shelter from rain and there are no heaters in cold weather so wrap up warm, bring your own blanket for option 2!

OPTION 3 -
Our full menu including daily specials and drinks are available to CLICK and COLLECT via our website

OPTION 4 -
Keeping safe at home? We have a limited menu available on DELIVEROO

SUNDAY 12pm to 9pm (Last orders in by 8.30pm)
MONDAY & TUESDAY - CLOSED ALL DAY

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 12pm to 3pm, 5pm to 9pm. (Last order in by 8.45pm)
FRIDAY & SATURDAY 12pm to 9pm (Last order in by 8.45pm)
SUNDAY 12pm-7pm (Last orders in by 6.45pm)

MAKING LIFE EASIER FOR EVERYONE
It is important that we all follow the rules for everyone's safety but with a bit of prior preparation, we can help to make a visit to the Wych Elm as seamless as possible by following these helpful tips:

We strongly advise booking a table for food or drinks via our website or the link below before coming to the pub. With the nights drawing in and temperature falling, demand for tables indoors is high and without a reservation, you may have wasted a trip.

REMEMBER
Download the NHS COVID-19 APP to your smart phone from the
APP Store or Google Play store prior to your visit.

Wear a mask before entering the pub.

If you haven't already done so, we strongly recommend setting up Apple Pay or Google Pay in the "Wallet APP" on your phone. Simply open the app and follow the instructions to scan a debit or credit card and enter the three digit security code on the back of your card. The next time you use our in-house QR Code table ordering system you can use the Apple Pay or Google Pay payment method, this saves having to re-enter your card details for each transaction. It also helps us to minimise contact frequency between staff and customers, however we are on hand to help if this, our preferred order method, presents a problem for you.
