First Mariposa COVID-19 Death
The Public Health branch of the Mariposa County Health and Human Services Agency was informed May 14, 2020 of the death of one of our COVID-19 cases. The 78-year-old female was recently discharged from a valley hospital to a hospice care facility in Stanislaus County. She contracted COVID-19 from a Stanislaus County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and tested positive on May 5, 2020. More...

MMCMS would like to extend their thanks to the Foundation for Medical Care. Through our partnership with them, they have been able to donate a limited supply of surgical masks.
Thanks to the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society's Operation Shields Up program, they have donated a limited number of face shields to MMCMS.

If you are in need of surgical masks or face shields, please email Chrisy and provide practice information and number of shields requested. MMCMS will do our best to fill orders timely.

Provider Relief Fund attestation deadline approaching
Physicians who were allocated a payment from the initial $30 billion general distribution from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Provider Relief Fund must sign an attestation confirming receipt of the funds and agree to the terms and conditions within 45 days of payment. That means that physicians who received the first round of funding on April 10, 2020, have until May 24, 2020, to file an attestation and accept the terms and conditions. More...
