COVID-19 Update

Extension of County Health Order
On April 29, Sacramento County extended the "stay at home" public health order until May 22 with notice that this date could be extended further. However, with additional protective measures in place, the County is allowing for some activities to return. Following this update, the District has determined to alter our business operations.

What this means for parks:
The District will reopen the following amenities May 1:
  • Tennis courts
  • Bocce ball and petanque courts
  • Dog park
  • Horseshoe pits

Restrooms will be open no later than May 8 . We appreciate your patience as our staff cleans each park restroom thoroughly before allowing public access.

At this time, recreation is still on hold until further notice. The virtual recreation center remains available for free and unlimited usage .

The District Administrative office is closed to the public until further notice.

Parks
Parks remain open and specific park amenities have been reopened per the Sacramento County public health order. For the safety of our community, please continue to practice physical distancing and proper sanitization before, during and after park visits .

Park amenities that will be open as of May 1 include:
  • Tennis courts
  • Bocce ball and petanque courts
  • Dog parks
  • Horseshoe pits

Public restrooms will be available no later than May 8.

All pick-up sports games and practices in grassy areas are still prohibited, along with all gatherings of any size.

All previously scheduled and planned private events held on District property have been canceled through May 22. Please email [email protected] to discuss your options for rescheduling or refunding. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to assist with hosting your event in the future.

Cordova Golf Course

The course is open to the public, as of May 1 . All clinics and lessons are still canceled. Please practice physical distancing and use proper sanitizing tactics when at the course .

Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center
3480 Routier Road
Remains closed until further notice. All programs have been postponed or canceled.

Meals on Wheels is now accepting new clients . For more information, visit www.mowsac.org or call 916-444-9533. 

Hagan Community Center
2197 Chase Dr
This facility remains closed to the public until further notice. All organized classes, programs, rental group activities, Discovery Kids Preschool, HYDE Out and events have been canceled or postponed.

Discovery Kids Preschool
  • All Discovery Kids Preschool at the Hagan Community Center and White Rock Clubhouse are canceled until further notice.

HYDE Out Teen Center
  • The HYDE Out is closed until further notice. Information about FCUSD student activities and classes can be found at www.fcusd.org.

Mather Sports Complex
3755 Schriever Ave
This facility, including fields, remains closed to the public until further notice. All organized games, classes, programs, rental group activities, youth and adult sports leagues and events have been canceled or postponed.

Board of Directors Meetings
CRPD Board of Directors' meetings will continue to be held via teleconference until further notice. Past meetings can be viewed on CRPD's Board of Directors YouTube page and any meetings held during the pandemic have been audio recorded and are available for listening on our website.
We are happy to announce the reopening of some amenities and look forward to a return to normalcy. We encourage you to stay up-to-date with all health officials' recommendations, including the CDC's . The District will update its website as new information becomes available.
