- NEW- Santa Clara County Traffic Court Information: Santa Clara County Traffic Court matters are currently suspended, For traffic cases with initial due dates between March 17, 2020, and May 1, 2020, or a payment plan with the next payment due between March 17, 2020, and May 1, 2020, all due dates and payment dates will be extended to July 6, 2020. If a defendant has a delinquent traffic violation that has resulted in a hold placed on their driver’s license, the Court will release the hold within 48 hours after the defendant signs up for a payment plan. While the Traffic Courthouse facility is closed to the public (due to shelter-in-place limited court operations), you can release a license hold by paying online or over the phone (408-878-0098). - NEW - Update from San Benito County Express:. County Express is providing public transportation for essential trips that are allowed under the San Benito County shelter-in-place order: trips to jobs that provide essential services, hospitals, health care providers, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other destinations that are necessary during this time of aggressive caution. Service is limited.
- Passengers must keep a distance of at least six feet from the driver and other passengers.
- Passengers must wear face coverings on the bus and while waiting at a transit stop.
- The following are not in service: Fixed Route, Intercounty Gavilan, and Weekend Dial-a-Ride.
- Intercounty Caltrain and Greyhound are running.
- Weekday Dial-a-Ride is available. Please call one day ahead.
- County Express services are free during the shelter-in-place order.
- NEW - The Santa Clara County Superior Court has established a bank of phone lines to allow the public to listen in to ongoing court hearings
