The coronavirus pandemic has changed most of our lives . For many Gavilan College students, lost income and the temporary loss of access to on-campus services has created an even more difficult situation. 

GAVILAN COLLEGE:
  • All locations of Gavilan College are closed. All instruction and services have been transitioned to an online format

NEWS
  • The President signed the $2 trillion aid package to bring relief to Americans hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The package includes direct payments to Americans and billions in business loans and help for hospitals.
  • Gov. Newsom today issued an executive order banning the enforcement of eviction orders for renters affected by COVID-19 through May 31, 2020.
  • The California Department of Motor Vehicles announced it is closing all its field offices to the public starting today.
  • Today Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley issued an executive order and guidance memo providing temporary suspension of various regulations related to grading policies, course repetition and term expansions focused on supporting students enrolled during the COVID-19 emergency.
