The province has launched a toll-free line
1-888-444-3659 to provide support to Ontario businesses who have questions about the province's recent emergency order to close at-risk workplaces following recommendations by Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health.

On Monday, the province issued an  emergency order  to close at-risk workplaces and encourage non-essential businesses to find ways to help their employees work from home. The government also reminded businesses to put in place protocols for physical distancing and regular hand-washing in order to protect the health and safety of employees and the general public.

Within 48 hours of our NCA appeal for N95 respirator masks for the Niagara Health System -two member firms donated unopened boxes of N95 respirator masks.

A big shout out to Pec Roof Maintenance, and our other member who requested to remain anonymous. Thank you for your generosity!
Our local hospitals and health care professionals staff will be in need of N95 masks in order to treat patients of COVID-19, and to examine potential patients for the virus.

Our health care community is our front line to getting this pandemic under control, and the shortage of these masks is a major detriment to everyone who works in the health industry.

We are appealing to the construction industry because many contractors
and trade contractors use these particular masks. We are pleading with you to check your stock.

The hospital can only accept full unopened boxes. Please contact: Karin Sheldrick to arrange delivery. Thank you in advance for your support, and please stay safe and healthy.
The Niagara Construction Association (NCA) is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and will do what we can to ensure members have up-to-date information by communicating through e-blast, social media posts, and  COVID-19 RESOURCES. (please navigate the drop-down menu for industry-specific news, updates, information, and links).
Please do not hesitate to contact me at 905-682-6661 or email with any concerns or questions.

We are currently open for business as per our regular hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, but please always CALL AHEAD as this could change quickly, and to ensure a commissioner of oaths is available.

Thank You,

Karin Sheldrick
