The City of Lowell has implemented a specialRestaurant Curbside Pickup Parking Space program. Restaurants may apply for a meter bag and sign indicating the space has been allocated for customer curbside pickup only. Additional details about the program can be found here.

The CARES Act
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was voted on this past weekend and it includes many different strategies to provide economic relief during this pandemic.
One program that may be of interest to our business community is the Paycheck Protection Program. Eligible businesses can apply for a forgivable loan for the amount the business owner spends on payroll, rent, and mortgage interest. The details are still being finalized. Our office will provide additional details when they become available. In the meantime, we encourage folks to reach out directly to their bank.
