Arlington Park Aquatic Complex reopens May 29;
Bobby Jones Golf Club Nature Trails remain open
The Arlington Park Aquatic Complex will reopen to the public Friday, May 29.

Hours will be limited to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with 45-minute swim increments offered on the hour with staff sanitizing between sessions.

Reservations and advanced payment are required and can be made through the online eTrak system . To modify a reservation, contact 941-263-6732.

Locker rooms will not be available, so please arrive swim-ready. For enhanced social distancing, separate pool entrance and exit gates will be available.

The indoor gym at the Arlington Park rec center remains closed and access to lounge chairs, kickboards and water weights will be unavailable.

The initial opening of the Bobby Jones Golf Club Nature Trails , 1000 Circus Blvd, was received so well by walkers, bikers, runners and nature enthusiasts during the Memorial Day weekend, the extensive trails will remain open to the public for the foreseeable future from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with visitors practicing social distancing. The parking lot gate closes promptly at 6 p.m.

Carry-out from G's Southern Kitchen is available starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday via the walk-up window at the clubhouse.

Reminder s: Golf is unavailable at Bobby Jones. While restrooms are available along the golf course, drinking water is not, so please bring your own.

Please leave your fishing gear behind. Fishing is not permitted along the Nature Trails, where the ponds were not designed or intended for recreational fishing.

Bobby Jones Golf Club is a wildlife habitat for many species of birds, alligators and other predatory animals. Be mindful not to approach the wildlife and enjoy the Nature Trails at your own risk.

Bobby Jones Golf Club Nature Trails, Bird Key Park parking lot, Lido Beach, tennis courts, boat ramps, fishing piers, dog parks and outdoor spaces are open to the public. Proper social distancing, as directed by the CDC, must be followed, with no gatherings of 10 people or more.

Arlington Park Aquatic Complex is scheduled to reopen Friday, May 29.

The Sarasota Police Department is providing public safety services around the clock and will respond to emergency calls as usual. For other non-emergency calls, Chief DiPino has instituted a temporary Telephone Reporting Unit that will be operated by a sworn officer daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.


Park facilities and amenities, including playgrounds and basketball courts, are closed.

All shows at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall are canceled through June 15. Staff are working diligently to reschedule shows. Visit for updates.
