SBA Changes Computation Calculating for EIDL
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued updated information related to the grant advance portion of the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL). The calculation being used to distribute EIDL grant advances is $1,000 per employee, employed pre-disaster (i.e., January 31, 2020) up to $10,000.

The SBA has moved to this calculation to distribute the funds to the greatest number of applications. As a reminder, the grant advance portion of the EIDL does not need to be repaid.
Advance Claims Payment Program Application Deadline Extended
In March, Delta Dental of Iowa announced an Advance Claims Payment Program, allowing dentists to receive up to 50 percent of their average weekly claims payments in advance for four weeks. The advanced payments are interest-free and recovered over a 20-week period beginning in July. Recently Delta Dental extended the application deadline to April 30.
