CDC Guidance for Dental Settings Webinar Recording Available
Yesterday's Guidance for Dental Settings During the COVID-19 Response webinar from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now available on-demand. The hour-long webinar includes information for optimizing PPE and resuming treatment to non-emergency patients based on CDC guidelines.

Please note that the CDC is not a governing entity, and their guidelines are just recommendations. All dentists in Iowa must comply with the Iowa Dental Board's Guidelines for the Safe Transition Back to Practice.
IDB Meeting Tomorrow Morning
The Dental Hygiene Committee will host an open session meeting tomorrow beginning at 8:15 AM, followed by the Iowa Dental Board (IDB) meeting at 9:30 AM. Items on the IDB agenda include a legislative update, discussion on the IDB Guidelines for the Safe Transition Back to Practice, and voting for Board officers and committee members. New Dentist Virtual Townhall
The IDA New Dentist Committee is hosting a members-only virtual townhall on Monday, June 8 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This virtual townhall is an opportunity to ask questions of the IDA leadership and your peers regarding practice management, how to navigate COVID-19 related issues, etc. IDA Immediate Past President Dr. Ryan Stuntz will be moderating the townhall, and Drs. Sara Stuefen, Derek Peek, and Amy Geis have volunteered to act as panelists to assist in responding to questions.
