COVID-19 Omicron Response
Procurement, distribution, and messaging resources
Dear Mayors, Managers, and local officials,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we can take immediate steps to keep people safe and out of the hospital. Municipal leaders are positioned to take action by procuring and distributing materials and by clearly communicating advice that will reduce demands on a strained testing system.

We've updated our Omicron response webpage with information on:
  1. Procuring rapid tests and high-quality filtering masks
  2. Targeting distribution of these resources to your most vulnerable residents
  3. Reducing demand on testing resources by providing clarity to residents and employers around confirmatory tests and negative test requirements

I also wanted to call attention to an announcement from the Baker Administration: residents can now access their digital COVID-19 vaccination card and vaccination history using a a new tool, My Vax Records.
If you need help or guidance, please reach out to Public Health Director Barry Keppard at bkeppard@mapc.org. For help with purchasing masks and tests, contact Mark Fine at mfine@mapc.org.

Thank you for all you do, and please stay safe!
