COVID-19 UPDATE - March 23, 2020

Governor Hogan announced further measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 today which includes stricter enforcement of current bans. In today's press release, Governor Hogan stated that Maryland will adhere to the Federal "essential" business list published on Thursday March 19. The list is attached to this alert. Automotive repair and maintenance is clearly identified as essential. Automotive sales is not specifically identified. We will continue to work with the Governor's office to clarify the rules as it applies to vehicle sales.

The Maryland Unemployment Division is taking benefit applications electronically. They also have a FAQ section that is updated constantly. The link for the Unemployment Division is here:
