Dear Hastings Families & Staff,
I am sending the third of four daily updates this week on our status with COVID-19. We will be in-person on Thursday.
We will be in-person tomorrow (Thursday -- 12.23.21)
Since yesterday at 5:00 p.m., we have had only two new student cases, spread across two schools. We will report the exact number later today. Thus, it is safe and necessary for us to maintain in-person schooling on the final day before the Holiday Recess.
Preparing for January 3 Return to School
All indications are that we will return to school as scheduled on January 3 for in-person schooling. Please look for a detailed set of guidance from me later today on preparations for our return on January 3. The guidance also will explain reporting requirements for staff and families (students) if they have a confirmed positive COVID-19 case over the Holiday Recess.
We look forward to a wonderful last day of school in 2021, and greeting everyone in the New Year on January 3, 2022.
